Delightful 1950s Opera Glasses / Horse Racing / Safari Binoculars: A delightgul opera glasses/horse racing/safari game binoculars from the 1950s. And in an impeccable condition, almost good as new. We love its dark navy blue enamelled eye pieces with the rest of the body being in a gold plated brass metal.
 
They extend/focus by using the gold dial in the middle, which focuses the lenses and extends the eye pieces out from the main barrels slightly.
 
The binoculars best part is it comes with a long string made in luxurious gold chain and matching navy blue silk. The string makes it easier to carry the binoculars around one's neck whilst on a safari or otherwise. And there also comes a storage pouch to keep the binoculars safe and protected for longevity.
 
Viewing through the optics is clear and crisp. Magnification is probably 2.5X.
