Product Condition & Care

VINTAGE SIZING

The sizing standards of vintage clothing don't always adhere to modern-day ones due to the changes in said standards over the years. Some of the items may not have their original brand, size and material tags. For these reasons, we do our best to recommend the closest possible modern-day size range for each item, but these recommendations are not always a guarantee as every body is unique. Please refer to the measurements included in the listings to help you with sizing.

If you need additional information on sizing, details, flaws or colours of products, please email us at londonvintagetcc@gmail.com

VINTAGE CONDITION

Our vintage items are hand-picked and curated by our team. The items are from the pre-2000's era, and so, are likely to have imperfections and a little wear-and-tear as they are pre-loved. We do our best to mention note-worthy flaws
and colour variations in each product description and price the pieces accordingly. It is possible that we may miss imperfections even after thorough inspection. These could be things like pilling, discolouration, small tears, pulls, loose threads, etc. We request you to consider that vintage items are pre-loved, and hence, may come with minor flaws.

We use these product descriptions to make it easier for you to understand the condition of the products.

The conditions are listed as:

  • Excellent Vintage Condition: Near perfect condition, some wear to be expected but nothing more than a loose thread or minor bobbling.

  • Very Good Vintage Condition: Overall in excellent condition with flaws that aren't obvious when worn. Usually we will add the flaws to the description.

  • Good Vintage Condition: In a wearable condition but with visible flaws. Usually we will add the flaws to the description.

We carefully examine each piece and do our best to discover and disclose any flaws potentially found on any of our vintage pieces that we sell here. Please note that we source and sell vintage, estate or antique pieces which are pre owned and are 20 or more years old and might carry some signs of wear.

In case of any visible defect that cannot be mended, we mention the same in the description of each product on our website. Please ensure to read the description before finalising your purchase.

Vintage Care

We recommend taking care of your vintage jewellery, clothing and accessories by keeping them away from direct sunlight and storing them in a cool, dry place. Clean your vintage jewellery pieces with a dry, clean and soft muslin cloth.

Please ensure to follow instructions on the tag of the garment for wash instructions when you receive them. Some pieces are dry clean only.
